Once again the sun shone down on our annual Golf Day at Finchley Golf Club and everyone had a fantastic time!
We were joined by Kerry Dixon (ex Chelsea player) and Angus Fraser(our lovely ambassador) who each captained a team and faced stiff competition from our other 20 teams! In the end, the best team won (congratulations to Paul Fynes and his team who take home our lovely new trophy)!
We are absolutely delighted to announce that all our wonderful golfers and sponsors helped us to raise over £16000!
This means that we are able to buy 3 ambulatory heart monitors for Dr Kaski’s department in Great Ormond Street Hospital.
These monitors are absolutely vital for the department as they enable them to detect and treat those children who are most at risk of dangerous (potentially life-threatening) heart rhythms. They are in great demand as they look after so many patients, so these additional monitors really will make a huge difference.
