This has been an incredible year for Max’s Foundation and it is only possible because of all our amazing supporters. Whether you have come to one of our events or held one of your own, you have helped to make this one of our most successful years yet!
In February we had the Stolen Hearts Exhibition, curated by Zoe Rose-Davies and Matt Perlman. Attended by over 180 people, this exhibition featured gorgeous artwork which our artists felt related to the theme of ‘Stolen Hearts’. A successful online auction meant that the majority of these pieces were sold, however we do have a couple of fantastic pieces remaining - please contact us for more information.
March saw our Quiz Night take place at the Clissold Arms in Finchley. 14 teams battled it out, with the help of Alex, our gorgeous Quiz Fairy, right down to a tie-breaker to decide the winning team ‘Agatha Quizty’. We are delighted to announce that we will be holding the Quiz Night at the Clissold again on March 7th 2020.

Our Golf Day was in June and once again, the gorgeous Finchley Golf Club hosted a sold out day which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone involved. On the 10th June 2020 we will be holding our Golf Day again at an exciting new venue for us - it will be at South Herts Golf Club in Totteridge and we are looking forward to seeing everyone again.

We were lucky to see the extremely talented Natalie Sternberg preview her Edinburgh Fringe show, ‘From Bizet to Broadway’ at the Clissold Arms in June and July.
Both shows sold out and all profits came directly to Max’s Foundation. Natalie went on to play a very successful run in Edinburgh and we couldn’t be happier that we were able to get a sneak peek!
September and October brought the challenge events. The Tech Pixie Trekkers walked 28km on the Thames Path Challenge and even whilst they were nursing their blisters, they were already planning to do it all again in 2020.
The Heart Warriors led by Dan and Kaylegh Preston, fresh from completing the Endure 24 marathon in June, completed the Oxford Half Marathon at the beginning of October.
That same weekend saw the Royal Parks Half Marathon, run by Mark Cathersides, Felipe Morales and Neil Barrett who all raised amazing amounts of sponsorship.
Our Annual Dinner in November was our most successful one yet - your generous support helped us raise an incredible £70000. Our compere Jon Allen took us through an exciting evening involving a quiz, auctions, a casino (with huge thanks to Funky Casinos), our pic n mix sweet station and even a silent disco (with huge thanks to Genie Events)! The Kitty Hawk provided a stunning venue and delicious food, and our volunteer army of Max’s Marvels ensured the evening ran smoothly.
