Thank You for your support in 2018

This year has been incredible for us at Max’s Foundation and we have been so lucky to have such amazing supporters.

So many of you have helped and supported us in so many ways – your donations, sponsored challenges, and overall your generosity and selflessness have made this, our 3rd year, so successful.

Some of you came to play golf with us, and a lot of you joined us at our Annual Dinner. Many of you volunteered for us and helped make our events the success that they were.

You are all amazing.

We were fortunate to meet the wonderful Preston family and their Heart Warriors who have raised well over £9,000 so far by taking part in the Oxford Half Marathon, cycling over 200 miles and holding various fundraising events at Didcot Fire Station.

We had 3 amazing runners, Mark, Alick and Neil, in the Royal parks Half Marathon who blasted their way around the course on a very wet and cold Sunday and raised over £3500.

The Rock & Roll Recruits once again rocked the Half Moon in Putney and raised over £1300.

So many people have donated money or their time to help us and we cannot thank you all enough.

We went into partnership with the amazing Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice and are funding their sibling support programme for 3 years.

Due to everybody’s generosity, we have been able to buy 1 ECG machine complete with software upgrade for use at the Centre for Inherited Cardiac Diseases at GOSH, as well as 7 ambulatory ECG machines that are now in use by the patients at the centre. We are also well on the way to completing the funding for Ella, the Research Nurse’s 5 year contract.

Because of all the amazing work that everyone has been doing we won Fundraiser of the Year at the against Breast Cancer Achievement Awards.

All this only happened because of you, our gorgeous supporters.

We have some amazing events planned for next year and can’t wait to share them with you.

Thank you for being part of our journey.

All of us at Max’s Foundation wish you all Happy Holidays and a Happy, Healthy New Year ♥️
