Pioneer meets 12-year-old Kat, one of 1,000 patients involved in a groundbreaking research project at GOSH to predict and prevent sudden cardiac death risk in children.
Now, Kat has been fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD). She tells us how the device has helped her live life to the full.
